The Kingdom of God!

Chapter 126

Father our prayer today is that you illuminate our heart and minds and open our ears so that we, as the family of the most high God, may understand what is happening, both in the spirit world and in the world we live in, so that we might be involved in the tearing down of the strongholds of the evil one. Amen!

Jesus said in John 1:1-5, (NIV)

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

We read this and notice that Jesus was the Word and all things were made through Him. Also that Jesus, being the Word, had life in Him and that life was the light of all mankind. This means that we must recognize that there is power in the Word of God.Not just the written Word of God, or logos, but in the spoken Word of God which is the Ramah.

In the past the Church has relied mostly on the written Word of God, which we highly respect, however we have not relied on the spoken Word of God that the Holy Spirit gives us. Jesus said in John 7:37-39, (NIV)

"On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified."

When was the last time the Spirit of the Lord spoke to you? Most of you would say, "Well, the Lord has never spoken to me because I believe that He no longer speaks to us except through the written Word!" Ok, what scripture do you base your belief on? Read again the scripture above and mediate upon it. Jesus said that flow of the Spirit would come through those who believe. If you don't believe the written word of God, what do you base you faith upon? Jesus also said in John 14:8-14, (NIV)

"Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us." Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father." How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work."

Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Jesus also said in John 16:12-14, (NIV)

"I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you."

We, as the Church, have become hard of hearing and because of this we have relied on our carnal mind to understand the written Word of God and neglect the spoken Word of God. Does the Holy Spirit speak to us today? Because we rely on our ability to understand the scriptures, we have lost the ability to hear the spoken Word of the Lord.

In reality, all of us have had the Holy Spirit speak to us many times and because we think we are so smart that it was our idea. There is nothing stopping the Lord from speaking to us audibly, however, most of the time He speaks to us Spirit to Spirit. That is what inspiration is all about. As we learn to hear the voice of the Lord speak thoughts to our carnal mind, we will give Him all praise and honor for His wisdom.

We are so prone to think that the wisdom we have in any situation is because of our intelligence! Learn to give the Lord praise for the answers He gives to us when we ask Him for help. Paul said in 1 Thess. 5:18,

"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

On the Political Front!

All hell is breaking loose in Washington, D.C. The Left's 2024 plans grow murkier by the day. And now a massive White House resignation announcement has Democrats in crisis mode. In the latest sign that President Joe Biden's own Party has turned against him, Biden regime Chief of Staff Ron Klain announced his resignation, and that he would step down after the State of the Union address in February.

Ron Klain, the White House chief of staff who has steered President Bidens administration through two years of triumphs and setbacks, is expected to step down in coming weeks in the most significant changing of the guard since Mr. Biden took office two years ago," The New York Post reported. "Mr. Klain has been telling colleagues privately since the November midterm elections that after a grueling, nonstop stretch at Mr. Biden's side going back to the 2020 campaign, he is ready to move on, according to senior administration officials, and a search for a replacement has been underway."

"The officials, who discussed internal matters on condition of anonymity, would not say whether a successor has already been picked or when the decision would be announced, but indicated that it would come at some point after the president outlined his agenda for the coming year in his State of the Union address on Feb. 7. Mr. Klain likely would stay around for a transition period to help the next chief settle into the corner office that has been his command post for many crises and legislative battles," the report continued.

Klain was known as "Prime Minister Klain" because the Washington, D.C. Swamp widely believed he actually ran the White House due to President Biden's cognitive decline.

The Klain resignation announcement came just hours before the Department of Justice announced yet another search of the President's home revealed six new containers of stolen classified documents. This stolen document scandal continues to cascade on President Biden. The drip, drip, drip of new revelations and unanswered questions keeps the scandal alive and saps Biden's political strength.

Republicans want to know who ordered the original search of the President's home and think tank, and why the government did not believe Biden's team when it said the initial search turned up all the classified documents he stole.

There are now six sets of stolen classified documents that have been found in President Biden's possession, with no guarantee he hasn't hidden more at his other properties.

And Ron Klain stepping down just before Joe Biden was set to announce his re-election campaign is yet another sign that much of the Democrat Party wants to short-circuit that effort.

It is really hard, in the natural, to discern what exactly is happening in our Nations Capitol. It really smells of the Left's trying to get rid of Joe Biden. Expect to see more crisis in Washington as the shift of power continues. Satan is now out in the open in his attacks upon our nation but he will not succeed. Isaiah said in Isaiah 59:19,

"When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him."

We, the body of Christ, are that standard. Jesus said in Matt. 16:18,

"I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

The remnant of the body of Christ are awake and taking action against these forces of evil and it is causing them to crumble before us. So, be encouraged and step up and begin to declare the most powerful weapon we have in our possession, the Word of God.
